A Trans-pose

Take a dive, try it wet not dry

“A Half- life conforms without dignity”

       Borrow bits of them

      And go off and try

  To be non-specific

 With your will

  If you will

   Thoughts be still

Using sexuality for good or ill

    Fluid as an imagination

      Slips through culture’s fingers

When all is out to sea

A white flag is no help at all

                        Without the promise of dryland

                              A curl of the lip

                                An Elvis quiff

                                    A queer salute

Then a splash of the tale

                                          Time to dive in

                                        With your will

                                       If you will

                                  Thoughts be gone

                                Reducing complexity

So pride doesn’t last too long
